No question. Yes.
Today I'm TEAM SEWELL. Tomorrow TEAM PITTS. Maybe TEAM CHASE. I can't decide, and glad I don't have to.

Took me back to Krumrie breaking his leg during the Super Bowl. Both injuries were awful. Losing Eifert sucks.

Hate hate hate this for Eifert. Good dude who was busting his tail to contribute this season. Don't know what his future playing career holds, but appreciate the effort he gave for the Bengals.

I was incredibly upset when it happened. Being a Bengals fan, I’m used to the team disappointing me and I’m not as outwardly vocal when losses or bad plays happen. Today was the first time in a long time that I jumped out of my chair and just yelled “GODDAMMIT!”
I absolutely hate it for the guy. I’m glad we won but that just upset me incredibly. I’ve always been a big fan of Eifert, and I just want to watch the guy play in stripes. I hope he has the best recovery possible.

I think what really sucks for eifert is that he knows he's going to miss out on something very special this year. He was a big part of that success. Even without him, this year is our year.

I hope Eifert comes back and gets another chance. Sooner or later, he's got to stay healthy and help the team out.
What's so sad about it is that he's shown so many times that he's a top tier TE when healthy.
I'm cool with giving him another comeback shot with the way he played this year. It's just that we need to make sure we've got at least one starting caliber TE behind him.

Remember Gruden saying when he was asked about drafting a TE that early when other needs seemed more pressing.
He said he was not only the best TE in that draft but was the best WR as well.

To me, the real shame is that he seemed to be doing so well physically, and I thought his confidence was growing with every game. I hope he does want to come back, and I hope we give him the shot. He is such a rare talent, that it would be a shame if he isn't able to get back and play, and enjoy a couple of really great years, and maybe even more. I'm in his corner all the way.

If the guy fights back from this why wouldn't we want him on this team? He looked great, it was a freak thing. It's painful to contemplate what he's going through. But lost in the talk around him coming back this year is that he's a real person and one tough SOB. A lot of people would have quit. I think he will be back. Hope he gets another incentive laden deal to stay in stripes

This and the way his teammates love him makes me wish he gets another shot here. I won't second guess the play call. Freak things like that can happen if he wasn't even involved in the play. He is 100% class and I hope he is a Bengal when they win it all.

Oh, I suspect there is little doubt he wants to come back. He has never stayed healthy enough to sign that big contract yet. He's probably looking at his last shot to get one in all reality. I suspect we see him back out there in the spring....

Talk about Murphy's Law. I REALLY hate this for Tyler.....just can't buy a break. He worked his ass off to get back to where he was, the team took all of the necessary precautions with him, and now this. Just sucks. We appreciate you Tyler, and just really wish shit like this would quit happening to you. Get well buddy.....

You and me both. It just killed the game. The look on his face as he was laying on the cart, told it all. We can only wish the best for Tyler going forward! #85

Just asking,
Albert Okwuegbunam from Missouri is a stud. Great pass catcherand a nightmare matchup for DBs. Not much of a blocker though. Actually reminds me a lot of Eifert. Problem is he and Fant from Iowa will be gone by our pick in the second and I assume we will address RG or RT in the first.
Also read an interesting tweet from Dr. David J. chao that this was similar, albiet worse looking, to that of OBJ last year. Good sign for Eifert being able to play next season.

Glad to see him say he'll be back. They way that thing was dislocated could have really wrecked his ankle. Hopefully this means it's all fixable. Wishing him the best.
