Here's a video of one of Boomer's final games with the Bengals

Boomer was the QB in Cincinnati from 1984 to 1992, when he was traded to the Jets. In 1997 he was acquired from the Cardinals and after the team started the year 1-7 under Jeff Blake, Boomer was inserted. The team won went 6-2 the rest of the way.

This video is of the week 15 match up with the Oilers and is also the game where Dillon set the rookie single game rushing record.

But listen to how the announcers talk about Boomer and how Boomer is so animated on the field. Definite leadership.

Boomer retired after this season because he was offer more money by ABC's Monday Night Football, and Mike Brown was extra stingy in those days.
