CFL Kicker?
#1
Don't forget about those guys in the CFL.

We have had some luck from there,
Rashad Jentry comes to mind.

Lewis Ward, Kicker (Ottawa)
5'7' but does size matter that much?
Rookie Season in CLF... 51/52 on FG's...
Set record with 45 in a row. Long 52, but safe to say his range hasn't been really tested.

We missed out on LB Alex Singleton. Philly signed him on Jan 7.

S Taylor Loffler from Boise State (Winnepeg)
6'4 220 lbs
Not the fastest, but a baller with good anticipation, and good 1 vs 1.

DB Nick Marshall former QB from Auburn (Saskatchewan)
6'1 210 lbs with decent wheels
For the right team could be an Offense/Defense special weapon.

C/G Sean McEwen came from Calgary (Toronto)
6'3' 300 lbs
Didn't make it with the Giants a couple years back, but is now considered the 10th best player in the CFL.

Ward's not bad.

Loffler's ok, but the current Ss we have are better (with exception to maybe Wilson).

Forget about Marshall. He'd get eaten alive in the NFL.

McEwen is a decent player.

I'd look at the first and the last, not bother with the middle 2.

Damn!  Fifty one FG's?

Yeah; when you only have 3 downs, there are shit-ton more kicking opportunities.

Are the goal posts the same width?  And only missing one with that many kicks is impressive anywhere.

Same width AFAIK, but they are positioned so that the uprights are level with the goalline, as opposed to having them level at the back of the endzone.

I have never known if this makes a difference in terms of, "announced field goal distance," (you would think after watching the CFL my whole life, I'd realise this :$), but it can make the kicks a bit easier.

Having it at the back of the endzone would be ridiculous in the CFL, as the endzones are SIGNIFICANTLY larger than in the NFL and Rouges (single points) wouldn't even count/matter and they do make a difference in the game.
