So who do we root for Thursday?

I guess rooting for the Ravens makes the most sense.

I'm rooting for a tie.

Baltimore. Pittsburgh is the team immediately behind us in the division, they're 2 games in front of the Ravens, and we haven't beaten them yet (like we have the Ravens).

No question, in my opinion.

Well, 0-4 basically takes the Ratbirds right out of the picture, which is no small thing.

Not the season to be rooting for the Ravens, but yes.

Still think with Vick the Steelers take care of business.

Ravens. For three reasons.

If Ravens win we have a two game lead over PIT.
I don't want the Ravens to tank and get a higher draft pick.
If the Ravens do turn it around, we already have the tie-break against them.

Al Qaida?

Depends on the diagnosis of the rapist, I guess.  If he's done, it might be in our best interest for them to deal Baltimore the death blow.  If he's only going to be out for a short period, might be a good idea to get a little separation fom Pitt.

Ravens ... but if we play up to our potential, we shouldn't need help from anyone else.

Yup, I was thinking along the same lines.

It's almost always better for the Bengals when the division rival trailing in the standings defeats the division rival ahead in the standings. Go Ravens.

I'd rather Ravens be 1-3 than the Steelers be 3-1.

But I find it hard to believe the Ravens would lose to a Benless Steelers team regardless.

I think the Steelers will still be very formidable with Vick under center.

Any update on Big Jen ?

I'd like both to lose, but if Ravens lose they're toast for the season. Be nice to be a two team race and I so bad want to knock the Squeelers out of it all on our own - sweep em baby !

Plus living in Maryland, I'd love to see the Ravens at 0-4. If Ben is out for the year I'll be rooting for Pittsburgh Thursday.

Ravens at this point.  If Ben R is out the rest of the year, then we may have smooth sailing in the division.
