I’m not one for training camp play by play, but I just witnessed Carl Lawson toss 345-pound Cordy Glenn 5 yards on a vicious pass rush. Wow.

Zac Taylor on Monday's practice: Disappointing day offensively. I am certain that we’ll pick it up tomorrow and rebound and have a nice practice. I told them it’s our last full-padded practice before we go play the game. So we need both sides to step up. #Bengals

Not a good day at all for the #Bengals offense (a theme of camp) and Zac Taylor expressed as much. "Too many presnap penalties, too many balls on the ground that weren't even challenged, to be quite honest. Disappointing day offensively. I'm certain we will pick it up tomorrow."

If Carl Lawson is looking dominant, I'm going to take that more as a positive overall. The defense has to bounce back this season.

Nope, two former Bengals: Solomon Wilcots and Bruce Gradkowski.

Zac kept pointing to the system being more important than the players (could be why Mikey liked him), he also said we have some currently unknown coaches but they are a collection of future Superstars.

Andy was all about Tyler Boyd or "TB"

To each his own, but I'll go with a crispy waffle with syrup-holding squares over a pancake any day.  I also eat a lot of pancakes, though.

Went to training camp on Monday. Here are some of my observations
-Josh Malone looked good. Had a nice TD catch from Andy.
-Damien Willis needs to be on the team. Been to multiple practices & this guy has been great.
-Offense wasn’t has bad as some have talked about. They moved the ball. Williams lost the ball on a handoff & Mike Jordan had a bad snap. Only a couple false starts.
-Carl Lawson is dominating!! Some of it could be our Oline, but he looks good.
-Defense played pretty well as a whole also.

Look at it this way. If Merv was here, bad play by the offense would go undetected since the D could not put heart into playing the O. This is actually good. Gives the staff visual evidence of where that stench is coming from and ability to fix it.
