I just figured he needs at least one thread of his own here. After all, it's not every day a Reds rookie nobody really expected absolutely dominates the front page of MLB.com. Congratulations to the young man!

When I first saw him bat with that awkward stance, I thought how can the guy hit? Now, I'm a believer and think Aquino and VanMeter are the future for the Reds. These guys can hit and did you see the 100mph throw from Aquino to second base to throw out a runner? Glad they are Reds.

Who knows, he could be the next Mantle, Ruth. Or God forbid, the next Bonds (as Fred keeps pointing out due to PED).
All I know is this, he came out of no where and like the wind, he has captured the attention of not only the Reds fan base but fans world wide.

He is filling the stands with help of Bauer outage. Reds are now relevant again for the first time in quite a while.

I just with they would officially come out with the Punisher t-shirt and emblem.

Well, time to trade him. He didn't hit a homerun today, Reds lost and his trade value couldn't be higher.. Says those who demand trades for the sake of trades..

Hmmmm. I posted in this thread to be cautious about a young hitter because pitchers will adjust and my post have disappeared. There was nothing vulgar or rude about my post! I’m not sure where my post went to but I really hope we’re not being censored on here now. Has anyone else had this happen on here?

I had a thread get deleted a year or so ago but I've never had a post deleted that I'm aware of. Perhaps it was just a misclick by the powers that be ? I remember the post and didn't see anything wrong with it that I recall.

But I agree I'm trying hard not to get to overly excited about Aquino, he still has a long proving it road ahead.

I’ll mark it up as a glitch this time. I love this site but won’t sacrifice my freedom of speech if it’s an ongoing thing on here. Mishaps do happen though and I’ll mark it up to that. I can see not allowing vulgar or hateful things on here. I’m not about any of that because it doesn’t prove the point anyways. Oh well.... moving on..
