***Week 2 GameDay Thread - 49ers @ Bengals***
I don't get how a team can play with so much energy one week and the next look like complete shit.

Jessie Bates left the Bengals and that makes me sad!

So sick of being a fan of this bullshit organization. Thankfully I had 5-11 expectations for this season. I wish I could quit them.

Rodgers is one of the best ever. That’s an awful high bar.

Week 2= this is the same old Bengals. They stink

Rest of season?  just lather, rinse and repeat weeks one and two....

Sad turn of events huh ?

Today I'm TEAM SEWELL. Tomorrow TEAM PITTS. Maybe TEAM CHASE. I can't decide, and glad I don't have to.

It's basically the same terrible defense we had last year...except that one had injuries to starters. This one is that bad while relatively healthy.

This Bengals D is going to give up as many points as a Miami team last week that is tanking their season intentionally. Are we tanking? I mean it’s actually quite difficult to be this bad on D. You’d think you would stumble into a stop at some point.

Try last 2 years and I will agree

Hopefully at the very least, Taylor sees the lack of pride and effort and at least has an idea where to start with the replacing next year. Getting beat is one thing, getting beat showing nearly zero pride or effort is another and will be the difference in how many people you see in the seats with orange and black next home game.

We hired the most inexperienced staff possible. We did no impact signings on defense. What did you expect?

We hired our what 5th or 6th choice?

THIS is what you get.

The lack of discipline and effort is just dumbfounding.
