I highly doubt they'd make a big deal about benching Dalton if they were in the process of trading him. Just wait til he's traded then announce Finely as the new starting QB.
I'm calling bullshit on this rumor.

Twatter account looks fake.

It's fake.
It's official, Bengals made no moves per Ian Rapport.
The only question is will the local media ask tough questions about what the hell is going on or will they cower.

Precious, precious comp picks. My mouth is watering at the thought of them.

Shame on you for expecting the Bengals would do something...when doing nothing was an option!

MB wouldn't take a 2nd for McCarron when we had a starter in place...I'm assuming he'd only get out of his brown recliner that every old man has if the Bears offered at least two 1st rounders for a benched Dalton.

But, there is hope for this off season that he will be traded...

Dalton is still under contract next season. I bet he's trade bait in the off season. Time for 0-16 and the #1 pick.

No comp pick when we cut him as we don't want to pay him to sit on the bench next year.

Shit, I was supposed to call Mike Brown and wake him up at 3pm. He said he had some trading to do. Probably trading Pokémon cards or something.

This team is a FN joke. 1st why announce on trade day that your benching you’re starter instead of trying to trade him. Just gives the impression to other teams that he was solely the problem. 2nd why not try to trade Eifert whiles he’s healthy when this is probably the only time he will be. 3rd why not get something out of Green, or just extend him already. 4th why the f&@$ we still have Glenn?

On the way to flea market, needs a new claw hammer and pliers.
