If you haven't done so, please vote for best draft for the month of November.
Voting for the best draft will occur in the first 7 days of the next month. In this case in the first 7 days of January.
Rules are simple: go to draft site https://fanspeak.com/ontheclock-nfl-mock-draft-simulator/index.php
Choose Bengals
Choose 7 rounds
Choose the top Big Board (it changes from time to time, usually on Tuesdays)
Choose Fanspeak team needs
Choose Fanspeak power rankings
Choose Classic.
Post your BEST draft by labeling the month i.e.; psychdoctor December. You can only post one draft per month. Keep in mind the top Big Board is revised every Tuesday. Members will vote on who had the best draft at the beginning of the next month. Good luck!

My first crack at a December mock. I'll take it.
Obviously, the team will have to do a little bit of work in free agency, but a franchise QB, 2 stud LBs, and a WR that will likely see the field sooner than later? Pretty good haul.

This has 0% chance of happening as guys were available way later than they will be but I'd take this and be happy as can be. Before anyone can ask, "who will play QB" the answer is it doesn't matter but this starts building the foundation for a rookie the year after.

Except for Young, I don't see anyone being close to these spots.
Not your fault.
But the idea of getting this set of picks...

Here is my first one for 2020. These are fun but sometimes pretty unrealistic.
RD 1 PICK 1 CHASE YOUNG EDGE OSU
RD 2 PICK 33 TUA QB BAMA
RD 3 PICK 65 TREY SMITH G TENNESSEE - running the ball just became feasible. L or RG
RD 4 PICK 107 COLE VAN LANEN OT WISCONSIN- again, running the ball just became much easier. RT
RD 5 PICK 145 DONAVON PEOPLES-JONES WR TTUN- 5 star coming into college. Needs polish, but too good to pass on here.
RD 6 PICK 179 AKEEM DAVIS-GAITHER LB APP STATE- raw, young, lengthy cover LB.
RD 7 PICK 214 KARY VINCENT CB/ KR LSU- NFL pedigree. Blazing speed!! 4.3 40, May run fastest 40 at combine.

That's why I dislike Fanspeak so much.
It's less realistic than most mocks I see people post with their own rankings.
The reason is because they put too much emphasis on need rather than BPA, so it causes a lot of guys to slide way more than they usually would.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
Sorry for Party Rocking!

I've never once used any of those Mock Draft Generators lol. The more people post them the less I want to too.

I gave The Draft Network a try, and their board was much different than Fanspeak. As you can see, I spent 5/7 picks on the offense, as we are struggling to score points. I feel like the defense will get a shot in the arm with the 2 picks that were near the top of the board, when my pick arrived. Looks like Free Agency will have to provide any LB upgrades for the Bengals this year.
Quote:1. Joe Burrow QB, LSU
33. Curtis Weaver EDGE, Boise State
65. Trey Adams OT, Washington
97. K.J. Hill WR, Ohio State
129. Jack Driscoll OT, Auburn
160. Jordan Fuller S, Ohio State
192. Tommy Kraemer IOL, Notre Dame

Yeah. Draft Network is my go to. I especially love that they have scouting reports on each of the picks as well.
