The TE out of Dayton, Trautman is also intriguing.
Will be looking at Bryant and Trautman now, thanks Coach.

Well done Bevell haha

Thanks Synric.
Appreciate it even if I haven't spoke in this thread much, I am going through it every other day or so.

Senior Bowl Practice coverage has been awful.
The NFL Network is only giving spotty coverage on shows like NFL Now and ESPN is so focused on their mic'sd up coaches they train the cameras on them instead of the players. ESPN also focuses to hard on certain players like Javon Kinlaw they will watch one of Kinlaw's reps then follow him to the side and watch him stand there while the other players are getting their reps.
It is very frustrating.

If anyone needed more of a reason on why coaching this game was so big this year.

Alot of the people I've been talking to are upset the Bengals coaches are running alot more OL vs DL run techniques than pass rush. Lol both are important it's just at the Senior Bowl we are more used to seeing the pass rush.

I don't know how accurate this is but apparently the Bengals were very interested in Kyle Dugger and Akeem Davis-Gaither in Mobile.

Good stuff! Both players play with chips on their shoulders. Both have had a good week. And, the biggest thing is that they both should be available when they look to fill those positions.
That was part of the reason that I've been high on Gaither. He needs to add a few pounds, but his instincts, and experience show in his play. Plus, he could/should be there when they decided to go LB.

Doesn't surprise me that their interested in Dugger because that's Lou favorite position.

I didnt see anything in Zac Taylor's hands so I think Brian Callahan is calling the plays today.

The Bengals have Oregon's Calvin Throckmorton playing center. Throckmorton was getting kicked inside at guard during East West Shrine Practices and looked better there than tackle but he is looking very good at Center.

God, Herbert is SO damn boring...
Say what you want about Andy's demeanor (I was fine with it), he at least had passion and energy, plus he had (and has) things to say, not 1 sentence answers.
And he had an ok game; all his incompletions were bad throws and that one duck looked terrible too (what was somehow caught).
Please God, ensure Burrow is our pick, somehow, some way.

It was interesting watching/hearing our coaches since we don't get many training camp and minicamp/ota videos anymore. They were different then the Lions coaches.
The results were unfortunately the same. Oline struggles and the average score of 17 was all the offense could produce. With a superior QB group.

Looked like the Bengals’ coaching rub off onto the OTs.

Exactly! When this quagmire finishes below .500 again, perhaps we will get a real coaching staff. Ts, after forty years of believing, I won't hold my breath. Joe Burrow will not "save" this franchise! It's going to take much, much more than what he may or may not provide.

Just out of curiosity, why did you thumb down my post? Not mad and you don't have to get rid of the thumb down, but what didn't you like about the post? lol

The O line issues for both teams were apparent and it's not uncommon because of the format of the game. Interior wise they all played a lot better but getting the tackles in this game out on the edge one on one was a disaster.

Back at you Truck! You know I got nothing but respect for you. I think I had a couple of beers and browsed through the post too quickly..lol.. Unfortunately, I do that sometimes. I'm working on it.
I just wish or want folks to be open minded about this draft. If the Dolphins throw us an offer we can't refuse, I'm all for it. I think JB is going to be very good in the NFL. I also think that Herbert, Tua, Hurts, and Love are all going to be good.
In that particular moment, I was just tired of reading all of the JB resurrection of Christ threads. Nothing wrong with being excited about him becoming our next QB. Hell, I'm excited for it too, but I'm also open minded when it comes to making the TEAM as a whole better.

lol no problem! I was just wondering, "what did I write that was so bad?"
Ultimately, I wish for the team to do the right thing. I've just been a Burrow fan since 2018 (due to Whitworth being my favourite player ever, I'm a defacto, "fan," of LSU lol) and even IF he was still graded like he was at the beginning of the season, I'd've wanted us to take him and groom him.
He's the best QB to come out of LSU... ever lol, plus with the whole good story thing and maybe help make the team prominent again (aside from his on-field stuff, which is ridiculous), yeah, I want him on the team
Despite a decent game by Herbert, he had the passion and stimulation of a clump of dirt, during that brief interview, with one-sentence answers and vanilla English being used (be enthusiastic!).
We will see :andy:
