That would be a very smart move; lots of quality players are going to be coming off the board soon.

Said after meeting Zac that he was a coach he wanted to play for

Really?  Geez, can we just pretend I was joking?

2019 M. Jordan G (4th)
2018 R. Taylor G (7th)
2017 JJ Dielman C (5th)
2016 C. Westerman G (5th)
2014 R. Bodine C (4th)
2013 T. Hawkinson T (5th)
2013 R. Friegl T (7th)
2013 TJ Johnson C (7th)
2011 C. Boling G (4th)
2010 O. Hudson T (5th)
2010 R. Stephens C (7th)

1 hit (Boling), 1 incomplete (Jordan) and a lot of no impacts.  Just not good odds they will find a starting level player after the 2nd round unless they improve their development of linemen.

We haven’t been good at developing the early round ones either.

Top of the 3rd may be where the trade is after all if the qb needy teams keep passing on qb's and they slip.

Between Jax and NE Dalton might be moving.  Maybe.  Hope hope.

The Bears just drafted a TE who looks just like their crappy QB.

Could Jones possibly be there in the 3rd?

Honestly I'm hoping he isn't traded until after the first quarter of the season.  I think he will be a GREAT mentor to Joe and won't be a veteran trying to learn the system along with the rookie QB.

If so, we take him.  Period.

Fair point.  Price, Ced, Fisher ouch... but right before that Zeitler and Andre.  And I think Williams can be really good.

They picked up Fred J. off waivers but you never know.

Burrow definitely thrives in 4 WR sets so Higgins can be a great addition if they are even adequate in protection.

BTW, Bengals haven't selected an Olinemen in the 3rd round since 1998 .... Mike Goff.
