Bengals ain’t the only team that got screwed by the refs
#1
Cowboys just got robbed by a trash OPI call too and so did the 49ers. These refs are ruining the league
#2
The AJ call was fine.

It definitely wasn’t. The DB was holding Green

The AJ call and the call in LA were both legit.

Unfortunate but true - sort of. The real problem is we've had the league being way too pro offense in its officiating including not enforcing OPI properly. Now this season out of the blue they start enforcing it but with no consistency. Like in our game it was fine until late in the game. Ditto the Cowboys.

And that is where it is a problem.

If the league wants to crack down on pushing off then say so and do it consistently. Don't have nonsense like we saw where Mike Williams pushed off all game with impunity and AJ got called for a marginal pushoff. Or what happened to Dallas or SF. Consistency - it is what NFL officiating lacks and what it needs the most.

it was a tickytack call that could have gone either way!!!

Per the new wimp rules, AJ made an OPI, but the rules are to wimpy imo. Let them play.

Other than that AJ looked pretty good though. If he can just stay healthy re-sign him for 3 years and let Ross walk.

Mixon fumbled

John Ross lets a TD pass go directly through his hands.

Burrow tosses a shovel pass to the Defense

Burrow over throws a wide open A.J. for a TD.

Fat Randy pulls his fat and shanks a FG.

The things above are why this game was lost, not the refs calling AJ for pushing off. Did he get held, probably, did he push off certainly, but this team had a 10 point lead and just pissed it away. There is no reason to leave a game up to the officials, especially when you could have flat out ended it with another score earlier.

Not going to lie, every time he got hit I held my breath for a moment till he was up and moving again. I would love to see a full season out of him.

Trevor Lawrence will need him after this O-line gets Burrow killed...  Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

Add ZT blowing all our timeouts to that list.

Yes, that too.

And letting Hart try to go one on one for the entire first half.

Plenty of blame to go around, and yet people still want to fixate on the call at the end of the game. It shouldn't have even been a factor.

If Ross leaves his feet on that pass, there's no way in hell he comes down inbounds.

My problem with the AJ call is that #81 for the Chargers did it 3 different times during the game, made the receptions, and it was never a problem. Then, AJ does it to win the game and flags come out.

That being a foul was inconsistent to the way the game had been called up to that point. If the refs made the calls previously then the players know what is what and can play accordingly. I think that athletes absolutely adjust their behavior as to what the refs allow. It was allowed up until the last 8 seconds of the game. To then not allow it is trash officiating. Especially at the end of a game where players are typically allowed to be and expected to be more agressive.

I agree it should be consistent but I think they just don't want the game decided by a push off clean it up near the end of the game.

They didn’t get screwed..... It was the correct call... they need to play BETTER

Doesn't matter his job is to catch it. He should be running track.
