It really is spiraling out of control for the league (and the country).

It's still lagging the hysteria, however.

Man Zac had to have been close to that WR coach. We should sit him out of an abundance of caution and let Simmons run the show.

I'd like to see that.

Don;t want to get into a political debate but have to respond to your very bold statement... Are cases increasing.. Yes ....are people being treated better now than in spring with it.. yes... are people still dying yes... but still with a survival rate of 98%.. do we have more people in the hospital..yes.. are we over run with people in the hospital... No.. is there a vaccine being ready to roll out Yes.. are we spiraling out of control.. Nope...
As for the NFL- do we have increased cases yes.. are teams unable to field a roster no.. have we moved games yes.. are we cancelling games every week.. Nope...

Yeah, that is all misleading or false. The pandemic is spiraling, many hospitals are full and they all have had to expand care stressing their systems and hurting care overall. We have had 25% of all cases in the last week. Survival often means a lifetime of issues and problems. We are a long way from the vaccine having a notable effect. It’s going to blow up even worse because human beings are an over-rated species and many will gather maskless at the holidays and kill their own families and making it even worse. Call it 65,000 Benghazi’s and we’re going to double that.

...he says, stating speculative possibilities as if they were fact (and highly common fact at that) despite the world having <1 year experience/data with this.

Yeah, not sure how he can even say this when we've lived with this for less than a year. Lifetimes must have gotten a whole lot shorter.

I mean... I guess there's times when this year has felt like a lifetime? Lol

Yeah, no problems at all. Everything perfectly under control.
As Covid-19 hospitalizations surge, some places are running out of health care workers. Here's what could happen next - CNN
The US has more people hospitalized with Covid-19 this week than at any other point in the pandemic.
Nationwide, 61,964 patients were hospitalized with Covid-19 on Tuesday, according to the Covid Tracking Project. That's the highest number since this pandemic began.
"We're already seeing our hospitals at breaking point in some parts of the country.
And the crisis is expected to get worse. The US had a record-high 136,325 new Covid-19 cases reported Tuesday, according to Johns Hopkins University.
And massive surges in new infections lead to more hospitalizations and deaths in the following weeks.
