I think the mark of a good HC is one that isnt afraid to make
A personal move if a guy just plainly isnt getting it done.
Hes always looking to upgrade any of the 44 starting
Jobs.
But this clown of a HC continues to start players that dont produce.
Guys like Sample Pratt Jordan Erickson arent doing
Anything to help.this team out.
I noticed after the Titans game Vrabel cut Beasly and
Josepth. He didnt think on it he just saw what had
To.be done.
I.think some of these starters dont have to fear
Of getting benched or cut cause ZT wears a dress most
Of the time. They.think.he is a joke

Literally the WOAT. The Browns hired a car mechanic to build a nuclear reactor.

The announcers claim the players are all in on what Zac Taylor is doing. I don’t believe that for a nanosecond, especially those players who played under Marvin Lewis when the Bengals were winning consistently. I’m not saying Marvin was the answer but Zac isn’t even in the same league as Marvin. I’ll put Marvin’s 0.518 record up against Zac and his 0.167 record.

Who are you planning on playing instead of Pratt? And Sample?

Zac does that because he is told to do that...watching the Bengals make you think the NFL is scripted. He is not allowed to put guys in position to excel, simple as that!

The Bengals have very bad depth, they used mid-round picks at LB along with a career rotational guy in Bynes, and they gambled their OL on the progress of last year's starters plus the addition of XSF.
Part of the reason they are so bad is because of all the injuries to their starters:
Burrow
Waynes
Reader
XSF
Uzomah
Mixon
All of the above guys are better than the starters that were out there.
They traded their 1st/2nd best DE in Dunlap.
The relied so much on their players staying healthy, and they can't bring in or groom quality depth for s**t.
So the result is what you see out there today.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
Sorry for Party Rocking!

Or he's underqualified to be a HC. He's only ever been a decent QB coach. He's a mediocre-at-best offensive playcaller.
He has to put so much trust into defensive coaches and OL coach because he knows nothing about how to evaluate those areas.
And when you don't know enough about an area, it makes it harder to properly evaluate even the coaches who will be responsible for those areas.

And I'm a loser because my entire life was scripted that way, too.

Young starters.on a rebuilding team with a crap record are going to get more leash than veterans on a playoff team.

To be fair, outside of Spain who would you start over the current guy playing?
This team has a void of talent thanks to injury claiming all the big name FA guys except Bell, and the front office and coaches with shit draft after shit draft.
I really don't know who else is supposed to be being wasted by not starting outside Spain. XSF clearly isn't healthy yet, Adeniji got a chance and clearly wasn't ready and was benched. Fred Johnson, sucked and is on the pine.
Sample, waste... but what do we have behind him?
Erickson, fumbles and screws up, then does what he did at the end of today's game, and even when Pacman was here, we didn't use him every punt for some reason, that is a Simmons call at that point since it was the same shit under Lewis.
The team just has a garbage roster with no depth. And I blame that on Tobin and the Brown family as it has been this way for 4 or 5 years now.

Yep. A lot of bad draft picks during that time.

Adeniji did well on his LT opportunity, but not at RT.
See if Jonah can be a solid RT and let Adeniji grow on the left side.
As for Pacman's returns, it was because he was a defensive starter. You have to pick and chose when guys like that will return, as you need to keep them fresh for coverage. Also you have to make sure the guy isn't already winded from the defensive series that ended with the return attempt before sticking him out there.

There is almost no position on this team where the 2nd, 3rd, and even 4th string hasn't played yet this season. We've seen what they've got
Winning makes believers of us all

Sonetimes you have to look outside the roster.
Free agents, trades.
Simetimes a GM/ HC has to actually do.their due diligence.

You could replace your title with "Why Does Mike Brown Continue To Keep Head Coaches That Don't Produce?"
