Oh don't worry... The politicians are line jumpin' to get theirs to "instill confidence" in the public. I'm not worried though. I've been taking hydrocodone just like the president told me to since March.

I'm curious to know as well. When my (step)grandson got his first vaccination, he had a severe, nearly fatal reaction. Needless to say neither he or his sister have had any since. So, bad reactions can occur, even for standard vaccines. This is a newer technology, so I am very interested in how it goes initially. I'm kind of concerned my employer may mandate it for us, as well.

A friend of mine from Peru is a nurse at UC also just got hers (Moderna) and I'm having her keep me updated but it sounds good so far!

I'm still not technically eligible, but my group (1C) is supposed to start getting ours sometime next week, so we made an appointment for it at the hospital for Friday.

Not sure which one I'll be getting but I'm guessing it's a two-dose one, so still won't be fully good but it will be a step towards feeling a lot safer

Good luck, Brad! I'm glad you were able to get an appointment so quickly, that rocks. I just got my Moderna vaccine on Wednesday. I was a little sore and had a slight headache, but feeling fine.

Thanks! I'm glad you got yours and I'm looking forward to getting mine!

I can deal with those side effects and, like I keep saying, it will give me a lot more peace.

They have been running short on doses for the vaccine in the area, but I'm hoping that they can provide enough to get to phase 1c and to my appointment.

They say the second dose has worse side effects, so let me know how that goes, but even the 50% protection will have me feeling a little better, especially since everyone always wants to hug me and be up in my face!

One of my old teachers got her first dose of the Moderna vaccine and said she has had no problems besides for tenderness at the injection site, which she's in her late 70s, so that makes me feel a little better.

Man. It is depressing hearing some of my coworkers anti vax comments/conspiracies.

Thinking about starting a new conspiracy theory about how getting that vaccine made me gain 2 inches on my penis, lose 2 inches on my waist, quit smoking with no cravings, and my IQ went up 50 points.

You'll have to do better than that. Last summer I was having a drink on a patio at a bumpkin bar out in the sticks (the Mecca of bullshit, misinformation, and conspiracy). I overheard some yahoo telling the owner that the masks and social distancing are so government can test their partial face recognition technology on us. They need us to spread out for that to happen... Nevermind the obvious holes in this statement, but he went on to discuss Bill Gates and Dr Fauci's monetary investments in the Wunan (not a typo) lab...

I'm hoping that I get the Moderna because I heard that it's the safest and my second choice is Pfizer.

Hopefully one of them will be available, but I guess I should be hoping that they'll for sure even give me one before I'm picky about it!

I got my first vaccine a couple weeks ago. No side effects other than a little bit of a stiff arm. I get my 2nd shot on the 25th. I'm really looking forward to that 2 inch girth increase in my penis and 40 lb weight loss I keep hearing about. Ron Jeremy isn't going to have anything on this hedgehog.

My best friend got hers taken care of a couple weeks back. No side effects.

My Mom gets her 2nd shot this Friday. No side effects just yet, but I told her to let me know how that second shot goez.

A co-worker's husband got his a few weeks back. Put him on his ass for a day and a half.
