When it's just 1 number, I agree. I didn't dislike it when I saw it on the Burrow jersey.... but when I saw the mock-up for a 2 digit player on the potential Galloway #20 jersey, it became too much when it became a bracketing of 2.

The shoulders were bracketed by 2 leaping tigers, the collar bone by 2 stripes/ginger braids, the numbers by 2 different claw marks.
