Some draft pundits have Mac Jones going in top 6. There are 5 QBs that can go in top 5 (Jones, Wilson, Lawrence, Fields, Lance). Panthers need a QB and may want that 5th spot. If hypothetically, 5 QBs go in top 5, that would leave 2 spots where Pitts, Chase, Sewell, Smith, Waddle, Slater. So even if Sewell go 6th and 7th, Bengals could still get Pitts or Slater. There is even a chance they could still get Sewell if Phins want Chase.
That would be a damn good start.
Then do it again. Trade down to the middle of round one and pick up another day two pick and a day two pick for next year. Pats coming up for their guy?
Then do it again. Trade all the way down from the middle of round one to the end of round one for a first next year and a day two pick this year.
