Report: Burrow pushing for Bengals to draft Chase

Why can't Boyd be that guy? Just because he's already here? It's not like he makes a ton. What's wrong with shooting for the best WR corps in the league?

I don't care either way... I'm just as happy if they go Sewell. I just think they can go best of both worlds and address the line in the 2nd. This team needs a lot of help in a lot of areas. Whoever we take at 5 won't be the be all end all.

I don't think the Chase folks think Higgins is capable of being a WR1. That's the whole point of taking Chase at 5, right? You don't take a WR at the top of the draft (passing on an elite Tackle prospect) for a guy you view as a WR2, right?

Boyd has a cap hit of $9.8 million this year, and over $10 million for the 2 years after that. To pay that much for 600 yards and 4 TD's would be...wow.

We all have a preference on who to take at 5. I'll adjust and get on board with Chase if he's the pick. I'll just be very concerned about the line. Far more so than I'd be concerned about our WR's if we pass on Chase. That's just like...my opinion though.
The training, nutrition, medicine, fitness, playbooks and rules evolve. The athlete does not.
