If the Bengals go Chase they have way more flexibility throughout the draft. They can go center, OT or G in the 2nd and then grab another Olineman in the 3rd or 4th.
There will be starter quality linemen in the 3rd and more than likely 4th round of this draft.
If we think of positions in more traditional terms, Hopkins is more of a traditional LG instead of RG.
Many people think RG (traditionally) is more the road grader vs LG being the more athletic mover.
Hopkins was a very good pass blocker at RG btw, but he was terrible at run blocking.
I guess he's still the same type of player at C, but it's less noticeable at C compared to when he was at RG.
