I think all the guys dropping out of the first just opened up the chance to trade down and get more picks and still get what we wanted. We needed a guard more then a tackle. Tackles are higher value so more likely to go off the board before guards. So it was a safe bet to trade down and still get your guard since some tackles fell into the second round.
