He didn't really have much of a chance. The Jets had OL issues with injuries to their starters, in fact they have invested a pair of high picks in the past two drafts in Bechton last year and Vera-Tucker this draft. Sure, it's easy to point to Le'veon Bell and think he had an optimal situation before him, but when you look at what happened to the Jets OL starters in 2019, it's easy to see why things didn't go so well. That's not lack of coaching ability on Pollack, that's just dumb luck.
Volson is meh, but I like him, and he has far exceeded my expectations
