I mean, I get it. At least to an extent.
But we have to remember couple things specific to Jimmy Johnson. 1.) We're talking about 30+ years ago. Coaches are given much shorter leashes nowadays. 2.) His record through his first 2 years is terrible mainly for just his first season (1-15). He did go 7-9 in year 2.
I'm just not sure he's a good comparison for getting a year 3 for Zac Taylor. Of course, that really doesn't matter now. Zac got it and we need to hope for the best. If he goes 11-5 and wins a playoff game you'll hear no complaints from me.
