Yes.Let him play a few series in the opening quarter of the last pre-season game,and no more.I would be conservative with him for sure.He may be a little nervous at first but then he’ll settle down and his competitive spirit will kick in.Joe Burrow is a very tough and extremely competitive Quarterback.Reminds me of Tom Brady, in that regard.
