Talib already lost his appeal so the suspension will stand.
A few plays later he got and unsportsmanlike conduct for something he said to an official. Considering the only evidence the media has reported does nothing to refute the assumption the NFL is just not believing Talib's claim it was an accident, does anyone think it is possible that part of the decision to suspend him is tied to BOTH penalties? Or is this just because of the eye poke?
An in reference to the comment about Adam Jones - until this Jones had the highest fine so far this season for an ON-field incident. If you count the money lost due to suspension this is now the highest fine by more than $300,000.highest fine by more than $300,00. I think both punishments are justifiable.
