What disturbing trend? In 2019 the TEs were targeted 112 times. 77 receptions for 721 yards and 6 touchdowns. CJ was injured last year and the Bengals didn't have any kind of real threat to speak of. 

For comparison, in 2015, the TEs were targeted 102 times. 72 receptions for 847 yards and 14 touchdowns. Eifert's TDs were an anomaly.
