Alrighty Bengals & Chase fans, I need some parenting advice. After Chase's 82 yarder, my 12 year old son was like, "Burrow and Chase are awesome," BUT, there has to be a BUT, he then says, "Chase will probably get hurt badly in a few games and never be as good again.... that's how it goes for the Bengals."
Do I applaud my son living in reality or do I discipline him for cursing Chase and the Bengals?
He's got a point, the Bengals first round draft pick in recent years doesn't play a full season. I'm also disappointed his Bengals cynicism is a direct reflection of me. I still think I ground my kid for a few months for putting this on Chase.
