You call it trolling because either #1 - you don't get his sense of humor, as I original alluded to OR #2 - you're his target audience OR #3 - you just hate Fred (Hey you have a large group of friends there).  You can feel however you wish, but you'll notice from the responses that about half of the people who responded to this thread also realized he was joking and responded in kind.
