I call bs on this. The 2019 defense had like 2 or 3 guys that are still currently playing here and a brand new DC that was having major issues matching his scheme to what was left in the cupboard by the previous staff. These are Lou's guys and Lou's scheme that's been installed for 2 seasons plus.
The Jets staff aren't some Bengal kryptonite mad scientists. They took New England's game plan from last week, from a game where the Patriots stomped the shit out of them with dink and dunk/running back passes/screens, and copied it for the Bengals game. That's it. Almost identical. The fact that those guys are from the SF staff is completely coincidental.
