Holy shit, they were up 11 with 8 minutes to play in the 4th?  How in the hell is that "getting your ass handed to you."
The game came down to a few things, in my opinion...

Not getting 3 points early (failed 4th and 3 attempt)
Burrows INT late.
2 shit calls by refs (Jets non-TD and Bengals "helmet hit" on Jets final drive)

That's it.  Change ANY of those things, and maybe the outcome is different.
Yes, the Bengals played poorly, but still had a chance to win.  It's not like they were blown out and the game was over midway through the 4th.
