As long as fans aren't dumping trash on his lawn, I don't see Andy as a guy that would make waves. Besides the boobirds, I think he truly likes it in Cincinnati.
On the old board, a lot of people were saying Dalton got too much money. I tried to put it into perspective because the cap is going to continue to rise. With the big, new TV revenue that will be in the very near future, the cap is projected to jump in a big way. Whether we win a Super Bowl with him or not, Dalton's deal was a bargain. I don't care how much you hate the guy, he's done nothing but solid for this organization. We can argue stats or whatever, but how nice is it expecting the playoffs now instead of hoping for them? Don't give me this not the best player stuff, Dalton has been a big contributor to the culture change of this organization.
I know everyone wants the Heisman, big arm, big school, tall, non-ginger QB because that's what looks good on the cover of SI. Objectively speaking, Andy Dalton has been above average in his first 4 seasons and this year is going way above that.
