Being positive does not make you a homer.

Predicting playoffs when you are 3-5, have lost 3 straight home games, and lost a lot of games to losing teams makes you a "homer".

I don't know...there could be extenuating circumstances.  Injuries, schedule, etc. 

That being said, those Bengals teams had not given you much of a track record to think so.  I do remember Mel Kiper saying about Dalton coming out of college:  "Allergic to losing", and for those first five years, he was pretty accurate with that.
