I doubt they're in the running too, but stranger things happen. It's hard to tell exactly what goes on in the minds of team owners and general managers when making such decisions.. It's not AS IF it's an exact science and they never miss.. Someone who knows someone who knew another guy who was friends with someone's drinking buddy in college and VIOLA!
