Bryant and A-Rod went to Germany because it's on the line of PED use here, thought I think Colon and Wood's procedures were done stateside. I think it's still relatively new/unproven. And while some football players make money, they don't make NBA/MLB/Tiger Woods money. I imagine it's pretty expensive to do that.
Didn't Woods have it done in Canada? I know that his Doctor was Canadian and was indicted for a couple different things. Unless it has changed, this article says that it is not approved in the US.
