Why am I so damn optimistic?

I think it's fair to call this team inconsistent. The Bears loss is another example of the bad side of the equation. That doesn't have to define them though; there's plenty of season remaining and they're at their best right this moment. 7-4 should not encourage anything less than optimism, and 8-4 would put them near the top of the conference. We'll see what happens.
