Unfortunately, Big Ben is retiring.
According to ESPN, Ben has told former teammates and some within the organization that this will be his last season playing for the Steelers, but he has also said that he won't play for anyone else, so connect the dots and he's retiring.
It's unfortunate because he's been so bad that he's costing the Steelers games, so I was hoping that he'd keep playing and try to salvage some respect for his name ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD, but I guess not.
I emphasized on the football field because he's a piece of shit that has raped multiple women, and that's just that we know of, so who knows what the real number is.
It sickens me that ESPN praises the sack of shit so much and already is placing him in the Hall of Fame.
No other team would sign him to play because 1 he was never that good and especially not now and 2 only Pittsburgh would allow a scumbag that rapes women to lead their franchise.
There's more in the article but it ends with this:
I hope he throws three picks, the Browns blow them out, and he gets booed off the field because it would just be a fitting ending to a shitty person's career.

Quote:Ben Roethlisberger privately has told former teammates and some within the organization that he expects this to be his final season playing quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers, league sources told ESPN.
Roethlisberger has not made any such public proclamations, and likely won't, since he doesn't want the latter part of the season to be about him as Pittsburgh tries to make a playoff push.
But sources say he and those within the organization are now operating as if he is entering the final five games of his Hall of Fame career, with two of them fittingly coming against the Baltimore Ravens, Pittsburgh's opponent Sunday and in the final regular-season game as well.
It sickens me that ESPN praises the sack of shit so much and already is placing him in the Hall of Fame.
Quote:Roethlisberger is in the final year of his contract. He is 39 years old and turns 40 in March, and has seen all of his quarterback draft classmates, such as Eli Manning and Philip Rivers, move on to the next chapters of their lives. Roethlisberger's 18 seasons with one team is the most by a quarterback in NFL history.
Roethlisberger has told many that he never would want to play anywhere other than Pittsburgh. It doesn't mean he couldn't surface next season in another NFL city, but that is "highly unlikely," according to one source.

Quote:The Steelers' home finale is Week 17 against the Cleveland Browns on Jan. 3, a game what will air on ESPN's Monday Night Football. Pittsburgh closes out the regular season in Baltimore on Jan. 9.
