Zac Taylor Changed the Culture of Cincinnati Football
#42
Another thing I'll say about Zac that I think people forget. In 2020 when Burrow got hurt I remember reading an article maybe a little over a month before Burrow got hurt. It was talking about all the sacks and how they weren't all on the line some of the sacks were contributed to playcalling in particular getting in 3rd and longer than 10yds and rather than running a draw or screen asking the line to protect for long developing routes. This was exactly the type of play Burrow got hurt backed up infront of our own endzone and instead of just tipping your hat to the defense we ask Burrow to sit back there and we all know how that ended. Along with the fact of having Micheal Jordan continuing to start I think Taylor owns quite a bit of the Burrow injury.
