Good call, I love me some Glier’s Goetta. I won’t touch it if it’s not glier’s. Even if they have their own festival, I don’t think goetta gets enough love. I hate how some people call homemade Goetta, Grits. Goetta is not grits, even if it contains oats. So shut up you hillbillies!
How does everyone prefer to cook their goetta? I prefer it extra crispy and browned up to perfection, but I’ve also been too lazy and had a steaming pile of goo from the microwave. Not ideal, but still not terrible.
Do we need a goetta thread? JK
