Jonah took a nice step forward this season, Spain had a career year, Hopkins was bad early on (understandable) but got better as the season progressed, RG has been brutal but is that really on Pollack? At least some of the blame has to be on Carman himself going all the way back to the shape he came into camp, and at RT Pollack was able to get the most of Prince when Reiff went down. To the point where he at least wasn’t a complete determinant anyway.
Interestingly, Jonah Williams was worse as a pass protector this year compared to last year, according to PFF.
He improved dramatically as a run blocker though.
Part of me does worry that Pollack might not be as good with developing pass blocking as he is with the run game.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
