I might get blasted for this, but to me AJ Green is a better version of Marques Colston.
Colston has always been a steady, reliable receiver. He has had some huge games with Brees, he also disappears sometimes. Colston doesn't get nearly the publicity because of his draft status (7th round draft pick), but the guy has played for 9+ seasons, recording six 1,000 yard seasons along the way.
To me, these guys are very similar. I have seen Colston make unbelievable plays, and also make unbelievable mistakes. Brees and Colston won a super bowl however, so there is some hope in that.
