So, the next question is,what else do the Bengals have to do to be a legitimate contender in the eyes of the Sportscasters??? They done already beat the hottest team in the NFL back in week 17,after the Chiefs had won 8 straight games. With this win,the Bengals clinched the AFC North title, and advanced to the playoffs. Then took on the Raiders who had won 4 straight games, and won. This win earned them the privalige to advance and take on the AFC #1 seed Titans, after Titans bye week and they had home field advantage.Titans announced days in advance that Derrick Henry would be returning 100% unrestricted.Did not matter,Bengals beat them anyways. Now the Bengals advance to take on the #2 seed in the AFC,the Kansas City Chiefs, after the Bengals had beaten the #1 seed Tennessee Titans.
The Chiefs had just come off a very dramatic OT win against the Buffalo Bills, which had the AFC #1 defense, and put up 42 points.Bengals win and advance to SB.Maybe it will take a victory against the Rams in the Super Bowl to finally get the respect.
