I still have hope for Jackson Carmen and D'Ante Smith but for 2022 we need to get FA starters.

I've never been willing to give Carman the bust label this year. He's a mid-2nd-rounder who was changing positions, scheme, and dealing with some injuries. It's natural for a player in that type of situation to need some time to acclimate.
So what the Bengals need is a proven veteran they can be confident in covering the spot for the next couple years while Carman continues to develop.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
