Draft his replacement this year and see if it looks like it will work out.
We have is replacement in Stanley Morgan. He already was getting snaps at WR this season, he had similar stats coming out of college to Boyd, and he had similar Combine numbers to Boyd coming out of the draft.
Secondly the Patriots did trades like this all the time with Chandler Jones, Richard Seymour,and Jamie Collins. So I don't understand the we can't trade this guy because we're in a Superbowl window argument. If you can get good value for him then do it
