9M signing bonus prorated = 3M per year
Balance is 9M over 2 years = 4.5 per year (keep it easy)
If we structure like we did Waynes it would look like this:
Y1 3M
Y2 7.5M. (4.5 + 3)
Y3 7.5
Cappa 40M, 4yrs
10M signing bonus prorated = 2.5M per year

Y1 2.5M
Y2 12.5M (10 + 2.5)
Y3 12.5M
Y4 12.5M
BJ Hill 30M, 3 yrs, 15M year 1

Waynes 1st year was signing bonus no base. These may include roster bonuses, etc so they will not be this clean.
Just playing with numbers maximizing this year.
That looks like you aren’t paying them a base salary in year 1 of their contracts. Am I understanding that correctly?
