Then you're an idiot. Merv took over a team that was 2-14 and went 8-8 his first 2 years before leading Cincy to its first winning record in over 20 years. There wasn't much change in roster from that 2-14 team to ML's 8-8 team.
So, please enlighten us in how a team that went 2-14 and made only a few changes in its starting lineup somehow won 4 times as many games the next season with a new coach but it was NOT because of the new coach.
