Let's have some fun knowing we draft at 31 so what may be left for us..
We still have a long time until the 1st pick in the draft, but getting closer. I am under the belief not only talent, but huge contracts drive some draft picks. Historical, teams want QB's, pass rushing specialists, left tackles, CB's and WR's due to rookie cap and having control of them for at least 5 years financially.
Only the best of the best seem to be drafted from other position groups. Some say the QB group is weak in potential #1 picks, but it always seems a team or 2 will still reach for a QB. Left Tackle is a very strong group, as is WR and CB.
The current landscape saw WR salaries escalate through the roof for vets. Will that impact teams trying to lock in their Jamar Chase for 5 years to manage the cap?
Round 1 Predictions (I will do mine later) of number taken at each position. There are 32 picks of course. How do you think round 1 plays out by position?
QB's
LT
WR
CB
DT
G/C
LB
Safety
Will the Bengal's make a pick (which position group) or trade down and out of the 1st round to get more picks?

I am so ready for 2024 season. I love pro football and hoping for a great Bengals year. Regardless, always remember it is a game and entertainment.
