A suspension is doubtful for a few reasons. Deshaun Watson has 22 civil cases against him, but those will be uphill battles for the plaintiffs since no criminal charges were filed. The fact that he’s fighting the cases to clear his name shows that he believes in his own innocence. Since he can convince the Browns to give him $230m, he can probably convince the NFL to not suspend him.
