If all 3 of Linderbaum, Booth, and Elam are gone (or any top 15 talent who so happens to slip), I'd prefer a trade down. I feel like that is at least a possibility, given how under Zac we have traded down in the second 2/3 times, and pick 31 is essentially a high 2 w/ the 5th year option. I can see somebody trading up with us for a QB (Howell or Ridder) so they can get the 5YO.
The more I think about it, the more I start to feel Trey McBride will be the pick at 31 if 1-30 play out more or less as predicted. I just think that's who the department sees as best available, and while he's a TE and not a WR, today's league puts a huge value on stockpiling weapons, especially when we already have our QB and no particular glaring weaknesses.
