I wouldn't be mad about it, but I don't think he's a slam dunk fit immediately.
He's 6'6" and 282 lbs, so he's kind of a tweener between a 4-3 DE and 3T.
He's probably an ideal fit as a 3-4 DE right now.
If he came in and played primarily IDL, he'd probably need to be used as a nickel DT initially while he bulked up further to become a full-time DT.
I'm also a bit nervous of his just one good year of production in a 4-year college career.
Just 1.0 sack through 22 games 2018-2020.
His 2021 was good though. 13 TFLs and 6 sacks.
