The 2014-2018 drafts were bad, but the real setback during that time was letting Whit and Zeitler walk and using picks on Fisher and Ced.

The largest, by far, setback for this franchise was drafting Akili Smith instead of taking the Saints offer.

Letting Bill Walsh get away was pretty franchise altering.
