If you argue for Ekeler being a top RB, a lot of people will reject it until they find out he averaged 5.6 yards a touch with 1500+ total yards and 20 TDs last season. Dude is a monster, one of my favorite players in the league and I am not typically a fan of RBs.
Depending on if you do PPR or not, pass-catching hybrid RBs can actually give you more points than a guy who really only rushes for the same yards from scrimmage.
I think this has also played a factor in more people paying attention to pass-catching RBs.
Zac Taylor 2019-2020: 6 total wins
Zac Taylor 2021-2022: Double-digit wins each season, plus 5 postseason wins
Zac Taylor 2023: 9 wins despite losing Burrow half the season
Zac Taylor 2024: Started 1-4. If he can turn this into a playoff appearance, it will be impressive.
